We Realize Phonics Is Not For Everybody

Phonics does not work for everyone, especially if your child has a problem with Auditory Processing.
Auditory Processing is the ability to identify, organize, localize, sequence, and remember sound information.
Phonics-based approaches are less successful, because sound patterns are hard to remember, have confusing rules, and too many exceptions to the rules.
Scientific research has shown that students with dyslexia respond very poorly to phonics based reading programs.

Our Visual Cross-Training Approach Works Wonders
Why does our process work better and faster than the rest?
Simply put, we do not use the same tools as traditional reading programs, which are heavily based on phonetic approach. Our process is completely different. It does not emphasize phonics, sight reading, picture books, or verbal cues. It is based on pattern recognition which links information learned through the auditory and visual systems.
We use of series of drills that teach poor readers how to store and retrieve reading related information in a new way. Essentially, poor readers have all the necessary information to read properly in their head, but it is disorganized and cannot be accessed quickly and easily. This can be compared to someone who randomly throws paperwork into a file drawer but doesn't use file folders. It becomes very difficult to find what you need when it is not filed properly.
Our process reprograms "bad brain habits" and teaches the reader how to systematically "file" key patterns used to identify words. Poor readers can learn this process without any complicated rules, and become proficient at word recognition for both familiar and unfamiliar words in a few short weeks. Sounding out words is not required.
